Boris Johnson Abandons His Promise and U-Turns on Child Health
Today the Government went back on their promise to protect the health of children in the UK.
They have caved in to pressure from industry and announced they will be delaying vital measures to end junk food advertising online and before 9pm on TV.
So for us the bombardment continues and our daily lives will continue to be impacted by the practice of targeting children with high fat salt sugar products. It seems the Prime Minister values the voice of the advertising industry more than he does children asking for their right to health to be protected.
